Continuous Improvement

The Semiconductor Industry is one of the world's most demanding industries. Continuous Improvement has to be totally integrated into the everyday activities of IRN. This process is deployed via Customer Focus, Management Commitment, Employee Empowerment and Fact Base Decision Making. The utilisation of such tools and techniques as SPC, FMEA, 8D, APQP and Error Proofing are all employed. The goal of the IRN Quality System is to promote continual improvement; emphasising defect prevention, and the reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain, enabling IR to meet and exceed its customer's expectations.

Supplier Management

In such a capitalintensive industry strong partnerships with our suppliers are critical. This process is encouraged and managed via the use of scorecards, supplier days and awards.
